Hi,

I'm just curious if there are any famous people out there playing GW. I think it's kind of exciting to know that maybe the female Mesmer in the sexy armor chatting to me is really...Jennifer Anniston...unfortunately in my case, it is more likely to be some old creepy dude posing as a chick...yikes!

More than a few. I know my wife plays, and she's managed to find 3-4 other women out there.

As far as celebrities go, I saw a guy in ToA called "Vin Diesel". I started asking him about his movies but he didn't take the joke too well and told me to "STFU". I thought it was kinda funny, I mean, he named himself Vin Diesel, and then he got angry when I treated him as if he really was VD? <shrug> people are strange (and most seem to have a poor sense of humor).

If there were any celebrities playing GW, it seems unlike that they'd tell you about it, or give you the name of their character(s).

I did run into a guild named SAG once. All their members are named after celebrities. The two (Carey Elwes and Lisa Kudrow) I PUG'd with were very nice.

I am willing to bet that Jon Stewart of the Daily Show has played. He often admits to playing computer games on his show.

That would be a blast to group up with someone like him. One of the quickest minds out there.

My Wife plays it when she is bored althoe we share the same account kuz we only have 1 pc and we can't affored another after buying this house.

I see grammatical errors.....they're everywhere

. Celebrities who appear on G4 admit to playing games, especially WoW. Guild Wars is more for us low budget people who don't want to pay monthly, celebs can afford it
